NEW RULES AND UPDATES for 2026-2027 REGISTRATIONS:

FAMILY MEMBERSHIP FEES:  New Rate FAMILY PACK (1 adult and children in the family): 55 CHF

ACCESS CARDS: NEW RULES: 
o    Validity period: September 1 to June 30.
o    In order for an access card to be issued, you must pay the club membership fee and be able to prove your participation and payment for CWC courses. 
o  Checks will be carried out by us and in conjunction with CERN. If the above conditions are not met, your access to the CERN site will be cut off and your card will no longer be valid.

NEW TERMS FOR PARTICIPATION IN CLUB ACTIVITIES: 
o    Payments are to be made to the Activity Leader on a semester basis.
o   The minimum number of participants is at the Activity Leader’s discretion.

PARKING: Our club is fortunate to be able to use CERN's facilities to welcome you. Your access card is issued so that you can attend the activities  at the CWC and for that purpose only. Any other use of your access card is detrimental to CERN employees and the quality of access to the site they need on a daily basis to work peacefully. In response to excessive abuse, new rules have been established.

CERN has also updated its rules concerning parking

For people accessing the site in the framework of official CERN activities, the maximum authorised parking duration is five consecutive working days

For people accessing the site outside the framework of official CERN activities, the maximum parking duration is three hours.

GATE B CLOSURE – Meyrin site: From 31 August 2026 until 7 February 2027, Gate B at the Meyrin site will be closed while CERN carries out redevelopment works
